I bought a broken Balladeer... Just for the case.
(not the 1112-4 that I just received from Scott W. Englund!! That is why I needed the case!)
But since I got this guitar, I removed the tuners and TRC. The neck is really-really cracked. And the top is major broken.
Is there a (correct) way to remove the fret-board and truss-rod? Besides beating on it with a hammer?
Also the Rosette and bridge?
Hair-dryer and putty-knife?
The nut is trash, and the saddle ain't too great but I will hang on to that...

Always looking for an Education!
[Since I can't play, maybe I can maintain the equipment!]
BTW This is What I have to work with

Remove the top and the neck.
Have some fun making a new top and putting on a replacement neck from Fleabay.

Enjoy the case! That one (guitar) is really far gone. Do you have a nice sized chunk of Phenolic Board?

Keep the bowl, and start over. I have some nice tops you could use. MWoody has, literally, a pallet-full. OOPS, sorry, privacy issues.
Is the Balladeer neck bolt-on, or glue-in?
As for salvaging, judicious use of a heat-gun, and long, flexible pallette knife. Actually, a frosting knife works pretty well. And, go slow.

I figured that the tuners and case were worth $5. And I may need a TRC someday.
I live in a Studio (Apt, not recording) so I don't have the space to build a guitar. But I saw a fret-board on eBarf, and I was wondering how they got it off?
But I do have a friend who made himself an electric body... and that is as far as he got!
I was thinking that if I gave him a Fret-board and some Tuners he might get back to it.
If not, you never know when one of my tuners might bite-the-dust.

As to the heat gun, I only have a hair-dryer.
But I cannot really bring myself to throw the dead-carcass out!

A picture of another way to heat the fretboard to loosen the glue:

... and then you go on like this:
