Yeah, I like them, too. Always have. I took my sister to see them for the "Slippery" tour at McNichols Arena in Denver for her 17th birthday. I think I enjoyed the music as much as she liked looking at JBJ for 2 hours.

I can't remember which video had one of them playing a Thunderbolt. Sambora was all over MTV with his double-neck, but I can't remember seeing many other "cool" or out of the ordinary Ovations in the hair-band music videos back in the 80s and early 90s. Sambora was also seen playing an Adamas II (cutaway, one epaulet) while in his hotel room in "Wanted". You can see Reb Beach in the Winger video for "Hungry" play a snake-skin pattern Thunderbolt for about three seconds. Mark Slaughter plays an Adamas I 1587-NB5 (I think) in "Fly To The Angels". Michael Wilton (Queensryche) plays a 1992 Collector's Edition on their MTV Unplugged set. One sighting not fitting into this category would be Alex Lifeson playing a 1987 (?) Collector's Edition in the video for "Mystic Rhythms".

Certainly there are others.
