I found this picture of the A-bracing in the Al Di
Meola model.


Here's a couple of shots from my Custom legends intestines:



Obviously, the bracing here is not identical with the one above, most significant difference being the lack of a brace across the top beneath the bridge. There's also no long brace on the treble side in my guitar.

Here's the problem:



The top sinks in along the braces, it's exactly the same on the other side from the end of the bridge to the soundhole.

Another observation is the rough shape of the braces and the black stain inside, it doesn't look pretty, but does probably not have any negative impact on the performance of the guitar. Do old Ovations generally look like that inside?

braces in my legend looked much better.
