What is this?
Looks like a cutdown BW to me.
It's certainly a different shape to my limited.

Looks to me like a hand-cut Breadwinner to make it a Limited.. Not as well executed as the ones MWoody's pulled off...

In a side-by-side comparison, MWoody's creation is much nicer! But that is just my un-educated opinion... :p

It is a cutdown. And the carpet is filthy...

Power was out last night so I'm cathing up on things this am. Interesting though.

With copius amounts of lubrication usually!

Just go with the flow (groan).

I can appreciate a little inspired creativity but I think it needs to be described as such in the sales pitch if it is known. 85% of the music world doesn't know they exist so uninformed sellers aren't rare.

Statistically half of us are below average anyway!

the first one is a production one with wooden p/g. The second is an example of coping saw creativity.

There's a song in there somewhere. :)

MWoody, take this as a high compliment!

Beal, this is not a production limited.. before Michael got his hands on it, it looked like this:

He even carved the back:

I was a little amazed at that sale when I last checked it, good for us!

Thanks David, Bill, I just think its good to put old pieces back in action. Look who I hang around! The same piece of Mahogany at Warmoth wold go for quite a bit!

OT: Here in this Naval Shipyard the Public Works Department is kind of a "stealth" unit that you can never figure out who they work for, what their jobs are and where they get their material. Forget about when their days off are.

In one of our 1947 built buildings there is a stairway that had a rail/wall that is now considered sub-Code in height. About 5 years ago they installed a Mahogany riser.

I swear its South American Mahogany and not the Nyatoh kind! One piece is 2" thick, 12" wide and 10' long. Luscious grain and color, all hand oiled (literaly).

It may leave with me on my retirement date...
