This was the third injury I've had to my left arm in the past 4 decades. This one directly affected my pinky stretch on my left hand... an integral part of my playing. For the past few years I've been traveling with a Carbon Acoustics Cargo, a short scale, small bodied guitar some here are familiar with. It's cool, sounds large with it's onboard Baggs system, but it has a chunky neck... and it isn't an Ovation. Meant to be short term, looks as though my injuries are going to be more long-lasting, though. So... question to the group, anyone willing to part with an Adamas Parlor? After some 50 years as an Ovation player, really want to get back to showing up to my shows with an O... and preferably a rare Adamas parlor. I Know Samuels had one for sale a few months back, but looks like it sold. Bill X seemed to have a soft spot for the parlor line when he took over... hopes up, but now he's gone. No parlor talk from Connecticut. Anyway, just throwing this out there. Someone may know someone.

Samuel says as far as he's aware, the parlor he sold was the only Adamas parlor made. Ideally, that new short scale neck on a parlor body would be a cool custom order. But out of my financial league right now.

Only hitch is you'd have to not mind having a center-hole style fretboard on an Elite-style body. I had thought about converting my 5741 to an Elite as I really like the quintad braces, but decided in the end to just to stick with the center hole.
