That appears to be the inspiration for Over My Head (I hear music in the air) by Kings X.

Very cool.

I'm surprised at that Bill.
I woulda thought that the fat ol' SG neck would be right in your wheelhouse.

I sold my 1998 Custom Shop Les Paul SG for $1500.00 two years ago . It was a cool guitar and it was one of the best looking ones I have ever owned with the triple pickups and all gold hardware , but they seem to constantly go out of tune after every song you play. The necks are top heavy so you dont let go of them when you stop playing or they will go directly to the floor on you so you gotta be carefull.
But the low action was by far the lowest that I have ever played. This guitar IMHO should only be used for lead guitar licks.GWB

...I had a 1965 Les Paul SG Custom similar (white with gold hardware) to that with Bigsby vibrato...truly was a "Fretless Wonder"!

That tune by King's X was my first thought as well. I wonder if it's the same choir clapping at the end of that tune :D
Love that axe!
