Which one? I need to check up on Sam. The whole summer went by and we never got together.

Which one? .

The 12 string. It´s on the way to Germany...I will have to be patient the next weeks.
But Sam does not need to be too unhappy, he got my red Adamas for it.
I will report everything about the guitar later.

Herzlichen Glückwunsch, Detlef!!

Jetzt musst Du mich aber mal besuchen (oder ich Dich)! Das Ding interessiert mich nämlich sehr. Die Nutweite sieht auf dem Bild sehr schmal aus...

Bernie

in English for those who can't speak German:

Congratulations Detlef,

now you have to visit me ( or I you). This thing is very interesting to me. The nutwidth looks very narrow on the picture.....

Is there anybody of the Ovation people who can remember to have built the guitar?

Wouldn´t it be too head-heavy? And parlor guitars are not very bassy.

What I am waiting for is an Ovation JUMBO guitar. Or better, Jumbo 12string. But please with contour bowl.
