Looking for an Adamas 2087GT-7 or a 1687GT-7. i THINK I'm identifying the models properly... kind of a rookie still in the Ovation world, so to put it another way.... basically any Adamas in the Reverse Beige Burst would be very appealing to me Thought I'd check here to see if anyone had any they may be up for selling..... Peace

Appreciate the heads up very much! The 1587 is a deep bowl cutaway Adamas I they started making them about 1982 it uses the same top and Adamas suspension ring as the 2087.The 2087 is the contour bowl and would have newer electronics but my 1587-5 sounds great it will be a little fuller sound with more bass than the 2087 contour bowl, depends on your use and preference if you want a stage guitar to plug in the 2087 would be more comfortable if your looking for pure acoustic tone the 1587 would be my preference if you like cutaways.

They were SO accommodating and I now have the most amazing, once in a 100 lifetimes instrument... was a great experience working with them and they did an AMAZING job. Cant take my hands off of it! Peace....

Joined: July 2020 Posts: 39 Location: NY | Thanks to all of you!! It's SUCH a great guitar! I finally pried it from my hands long enough to take a few pics! The "custom" aspects are somwewhat minimal. I wanted the epi's on both sides, as they only do the bass side on the 2087... only played ONE that had the bass side only, and it didn't sound right to me. The high end especially seemed muted to my ear... I asked for a softer burst... basically less dark in the middle... and man it looks classy! Although, I just discovered pretty hard to photograph. Also asked they load up the flake on top and back. Love the sparkles! Most importantly, did a custom neck that fits my hand so perfectly and is SO SO smooth its screaming to be played. They went above and beyond in this department. It's really a once in a lifetime guitar.... and they were so cool and clearly very passionate about what they do. Living in NY, I was able to pick it up from the factory and spent some time there.... it was just a great great great experience all around.... Peace... BTW I added also EPI´s on the treble side of my Adamas because I also found the sound better, esp. the mid/high levels, more 3-dimensional. See pics: Any
