whay's up with this zombie stuff, anyway? last night while driving home from a gig, i listened to a news report on the radio about the sheriff/police chief? of lansing, michigan who has made preparations for his town to be ready for a zombie attack. he has amassed loads of chainsaws in order to cut down the trees to detour the zombies from lansing. i was waiting for the punch line in this story, but there wasn't one. the dude is serious!

That sounds like a Halloween stunt. With the Zillas, I think it's a year-round healthy imagination exercise.

Sort of like my son and I, who never tire of the age old "Which Justice Leaguer would be the last one standing?" debate.

Wow! Music and song sheets. To actually know what you're playing. Something to think about for the next Boulder Jam . . .

We just kept adding to the Southern Style Jam songbooks. A couple of people brought new music to work on... it was great. I think Zilla printed some from Slipkid's trinket. The cool thing is that we made the exact number of books last June to last for both jams. Everyone got one and now they're gone.

Or not. You can argue that Batman would find a way to win, but I say heat vision is pretty much big blue's ace in the hole.

I've got a short video on my Youtube channel .

Hopefully Jim and Zilla will come through with some more exciting jam footage soon. If any attendees want to add some to my channel, let me know and I can give you login info, or get me your files and I can edit it.

Thanks Cap. You have managed to capture my real talent.

I only shot stills this go around, and most are duplicates to those already posted. Maybe someone else has some footage. I believe Mrs. Zilla was doing a little filmin.

But no real "performances", so it could be more interesting. Zilla will come through with the goods, I just know it.

Of course, our performances will be all of us looking down at books while playing. So... mental note - music stands next time.

I had planned to place a well-timed phone call down to 'zilla's house that saturday. You know... just ask about the calendar or something & then be horrified that I had interupted the party. However, when I went to look for the number, it wasn't there.
Steve... did ya get my e-mail???
