I wonder if a gathering up this way should happen at the same time.

I'm really surprised at the number of luthiers that will be present, and there are three more local ones that aren't on the list yet. I find that odd, but still, a pretty impressive list.

Hi, OMA,
" That is almost in Canada tho'...", so it's too far to go for you, eh? Just wondering. Yes, we do have a lot of good luthiers in CANADA, also, for sure, and I have actually played some of their guitars before, too. If I did some name-dropping here, you would definitely recognize them. Unfortunately, none of them is labelled OVATION on the head stock. Ooops.

Being a true lover of Ovations I did not even look at those guitars for over 30 seconds. Should I have been more open minded??

Hey, Dave,
Naw, it's okay to be close minded for up to 30 seconds, but, if you are too open minded, your brain tends to fall out, or so I've been told?

It is nice to play other, expensive guitars...
Just to decide, "Is this really worth $18,000?"

Maybe up there; by May the few that are still grown in the Skagit Valley are pretty much gone. Still muddy compared to the Whidbey Island rainshadow.

No it would never be worth $18000 to me. I already have the best which the guitar world has to offer and will die happy never needing anything but the Ovations which I already have!!! You can never fix what ain't broke!!!!
