I wish you hadn't done that.

Not that I care about the archtop, but there's a spalted Koa that will be gone if it's still there when I get back from Jacksonville on a wood buying mission for the guitar projects this winter.

If I recall Phil's was an extra deep body. I think Kala changed to a more "standard" size body depth on recent models. For the money these are darn nice instruments. Dave

The uke that I got from Dave was from an early run of that model that was made slightly deeper.I contacted Kala's customer service because the uke developed cracks near the F holes. The customer service rep was very helpful due to the fact that I was not the original owner. He sent me a new one. It was also an adventure locating a hard case due to the depth.
I am very happy with it.
