Hello forum!! Hows everybody today? Im a new ovation owner with a used guitar. dja34 & cs24-5 Yah lots of questions.
1.) My preamp has no output from the 1/4 jack. However my preamp while in tuning mode shows two arrows alternating between up and down. They blink repeatedly. I pulled this preamp out of a busted guitar . It did work in that guitar as far as tuning strings. I moved it over to the good one and bam no tuner or output. Iv tried both of the pickups and it still does the blinking thing. The only thing I didn't bring over from the cs24 was the battery holder as the dja34 still had the oem one. Any I ideas out there?

Is my preamp shot or do I need a pickup? help me!!!!

If you KNOW that the pickup on the CS24 works, but the preamp doesn't work...
Then the Preamp doesn't work.
Even if the output jack was bad the Tuner should work.
The battery holder is not the problem... If the arrows light-up you have juice.

You get a rear cover (manhole cover) from eBay.
Or you contact Ovation.
