Location: Reno, NV | How do you prefer to play the same harmonics found at the 7th and 19th frets? I guess what Im asking is what works best for you? I suppose that for the guitars without cutouts the 7th may be easier, however, since you dont really have to hold a fret maybe its a non issue. I feel I can get a clearer ring a 19th than 7th. Anyone else feel the same? |

Location: CT | You're probably getting a clearer ring on the 19th because your plucking it closer to where your finger rests on the string.

Location: Budd Lake, NJ | Actually, if I have one that I just can't get to sound right any other way by ear, the 12th-19th fret harmonics always seem to put it right somehow. There must be a difference, but I certainly don't know enough about harmonics to explain it; I'm just always relieved when it works.....
