Location: When?? | Word was going around a while back about Adamas strings coming back, but I still can't find a single one available anywhere. Did I miss any info or updates on that? I sure would love to have a nice stash of 1818s again. |

Location: New Britain, Ct | I just purchased 5 sets from a local music store but they were new old stock - but when I visited the Mothership factory 2 weeks ago I was told they have cases of new Adamas strings again. |

Location: New Britain, Ct | I'm not sure - they were from the music shop in Southington ,CT, If not I'm sure they will be available soon - I have 2 sets of 1818's left and if you need them badly I can sell them to you for what I paid - $7.99 each. |

I checked with B&J Music here in CANADA, after talking to John Budny at the Mother Ship about the new ADAMAS Strings. I'm still waiting on this. Why are these strings so hard to get? I do not know.

Location: When?? | Adamkrz.. thank you for your offer... that is very kind of you! I would hate to deny a fellow member their stash, so I will just go ahead and use up the supply of the D'-EXP16s I currently have on hand (they seem to be working nicely) and wait out the supply of 1818s which, as you said, should [should] be on the open market soon. I assume that the Mothership's supply is new stock since they, too, had had run out of Adamas brand and gone over to the D'-EXP16s in the past, so that is a good indicator that the Adamas will be on the shelves in the near future. But thank you again for your kind offer! Don't be surprised if someone else here hits you up for them. |

Location: Cologne/Germany | ...as already written in another post some weeks ago, they are available on german ebay from German sellers and at Germany's biggest music dealer Thomann, so it is really surprising that it is not possible to buy them in the US.
