Hi,

New here so sorry if this is all old stuff, but grateful for advice.
I bought a Kaman Matrix in 1982 in Manchester UK. They were pretty rare in those days & I shelled out £200 to get it. It's been fine over the years but not much played in the last 25.
It is a model 1737 serial no. 002402.
Some years back the pick up stopped working so I removed it & volume control although the jack socket is still in situ.
2 questions -
If I wanted to refit a pickup what is the best way forward? I have looked online & would rather get something as close to the original as possible.
Anybody know the value/previous history of this guitar.
It still plays beautifully btw. I have been pulling instruments out from underneath the bed as I approach dotage & am wondering if this one merits restoring/resale.
Grateful for any advice/input.
Thanks
