Since a few of the O'Cultists are impatiently waiting for their Guitars to come home, I thought I would chime in, and start NOW!
I am getting antsy cuz UPS sez that my Pacemaker will be here tomorrow. Tracking info sez 11/06/2007!
I was hoping that it would be early and get here today, but since it is UPS, I'll be pleased if it is on time!
Just a reminder... BEFORE-- --And I have been going through Withdrawal!
My Celebrity 12 just doesn't quite do it! It's nice but... :(

I share your anticipation, and am happy for you for getting confirmation that the work is done on your Pacemaker. Maybe now they can get around to working on my Pacemaker which has been with Mothership for 6 weeks. All I have right now is an estimated completion date of November 10.
I guess the good news is they've had a chance to practice repairing your guitar before working on mine! LOL.

Hope you love it !

They really do sound great.

I love to see these come back with modern electronics.

That's great Arthur! Mine is supposed to be here today too. I just hope they both get here in the same shape they left the factory in.

I have one of these. It's my main guitar and came from ebay with a lot of problems for $300. I had a friend/repair guy fix everything.

Since I only had $300 into it I didn't want to put a lot of $ into electronics, so I installed a low-end B-Band preamp. EVERY time I play it now I wanna kick myself for not putting an OpPro in it! I would have gotten over the cost by now. Ahh...regrets.

 Here's what I've been waiting for...
That would be Honey Burst! Or so I ordered. It's Damn Nice whatever it is!

This last photo was supposed to be of the serial number. I got the same serial number back.
That might be the same foil sticker too! Didn't show that but it don't look brand-spankin'-new.
I thought that they might have given me new tuners, but no... The just washed them!
And Damn, it is hard to tune a 12 from scratch.
Especially when you are just Dying to Play It.
I had forgotten how Loud and Full this thing was... I had been playing the 255 for so long.

And they gave me a Strap-Button up by the neck!
I used to be just a tie-on...

It's not too late. When I sent my 1112-4 to the mothership for restoration, I had the Op Pro installed. Pricey? Yes. Worth it? Yes!

If it's your main guitar, you will thank yourself, down the road, many times over.
Do It!!! :)

I was going through buyer's remorse about the color. I told John Honey Burst, cuz I figured that it would go with the old headstock (and it DOES, real nice).
But for two months I have been thinking that I should have asked for something snazzier. But NO! I like this just fine.
You'll notice that there are no "bolts" on the bridge. New-fangled glue I guess.
And now I also know about that New Guitar Smell!
[smells alot better than my CC44 when it was new! and my CC255 is jealous!)
Oh yeah, it is strange looking into the sound-hole when I'm playing, and seeing that fresh new bracing!

For Anyone who is interested...
This cost more than I paid for the guitar,
IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!

(They still sent it back in the same screwed-up case, but it won't spend much time in there! ;) )

Very nice Arthur! I know you will enjoy it. The Pacemaker is one of the best 12ers out there.

Looks beautiful. At some point down the line I may do the same for my Pacemaker. Enjoy!
