You definitely made my day :D And I can reconfirm now that the site is safe, too. You really love your birds. Awesome pictures, but unfortunately the videos could not be found, though.

LMAO again!!!!

Thank You Guys!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dan, you Love your birds like I do! Reading your blog on the Birds sounded just like me and my Babies, and the same experiences, and discoveries I am still making!!! I had a WF Pearl Pied that looked so much like your Pepper before his molt, only she was the regular grey instead of that stunning Silver! Her name was Wind Dancer, and she like your girl, Koko, an egg-laying machine, and I lost her to that too. After losing most of my females that way, I decided to have only boys now. I have one female left, Kacie, but she is unable to lay eggs, so I have high hopes of keeping her with me for many years!

Muzza, I LOVE your Indian Ringnecks!!! I have heard such good things about them. They actually have a few wild flocks in California now from escapees, getting together and making a go of being wild. They are not Native, but they are not hurting anything either, and folks Love them!!! Yours are Gorgeous! Are they good talkers??? Did you ever see any of the YouTube videos of "Marnie"??? HILARIOUS!!!

I was thinking that our cats and dogs wouldn't talk back to us when we yell at them like birds do. Then I remembered that our last dog would growl and sometimes bite when I yelled at her. My other dogs never did that, but they were male and I figured that it was the gender that caused the nasty response.

Mark, I have an Afghan Kuchi (2 of them actually), and Griffen is more wolf than dog, and way too smart and powerful for me.

If I yell at him, he will bristle up and growl and snap, so I was told to calf tip him until he accepted me as Pack Leader. So every morning, when I put my foot on the floor, I would calf tip him, and hold his cheek down, until he relaxed. Did that for 2 weeks. Now I am accepted Leader (for the time being) but he is constantly challenging for that position. I am going back to Shelties after these 2 big ones pass, they drag me all over the place, bite, jerk you all over. I have been around 1400 lb horses all my life, and never been hurt like these 2 dogs do to me.

I figure that I took responsibility for them, and I will give them the best life possible, but I am going to get one that wants to please next time, these 2 just don't give a rodent's rump about pleasing you! Mini Aussies are nice too! A nice older one that likes to sit beside you, and won't kick you off the bed!

Some of us medium size Aussies aren't all that bad.

Very nice! Bill did a custom TRC for my daughter's Adamas which was her high school graduation gift. He inlaid her signature, making her guitar a signature model ;>) Now it is a custom model after the Mothership replaced the top (delaminated) and put on different epaulets.

A custom TRC can make a big difference in how personal a guitar feels.

It really does!!! It is like a Tattoo, it makes it individually *yours*!

I was thinking that Ovation could offer a personalization on the guitars that they are gearing towards the younger folks, with a Special Order decal to add to the face. Young people will put out $300+ for a tattoo, and how cool would it be to have your tattoo on your guitar too? Just a thought!

I'll bet your Daughter still loves having her signature on her guitar, VERY Cool Flysig!!

Here she is with it when I gave her the guitar. She had no idea she was getting an Adamas nor that it was her "signature" model. It is still her favorite acoustic, though she has a decent collection O guitars and other stringed instruments.

Nancy, our bitch was a Springer that we rescued from the pound, so we didn't know her history. I did some reading about "Springer rage", the term for when a friendly dog turns violent. It happens in Springers enough that they got the name and ours really tried hard to please us, except when she thought she was going to get punished.
My brother did the same "Alpha" training with a Rottweiler that he rescued. It involved a lot of wrestling and shouting, "who's the Alpha Male?" The dog came around to being a great dog, even when they had kids. It did nail the mailman once.
Now I've really got us off topic, from birds to dogs, so our Springer was afraid of my Ovation for years, until I started playing it almost every day and she got used to it.

Haha :D Thanks, Nancy. I always thought that's what the TRCs are actually made for. I will get one done by your guy for my FD-14 sooner or later. I hope he'll ship to Germany.

If he doesn't, have it shipped to me, and I will ship it over to you. I ship horses to Germany all the time. They are SO much faster than the UK for shipping, and the boxes get there safely!
