Looking for the standard shaft version of the below pictured tuners.

Hey guys. Yeah, I'm actually looking for tuners. I thought I had at least seen every possible combination on an Ovation, and these do look stock... But the split shafts are starting to break. I'd like to replace.

Let me know if you have a set that you are willing the sell or donate. The guitar I'm working on belongs to a long time member and friend.

Miles, I have a set which would fit, but they don't have the "Ovation" logo and don't have the split shaft. They have the "Schaller" logo and holes in the shaft. They are not new!!! If you are interested let me know and drop me a PM with your email address for Pictures.

If you want new ones which would fit, go for Schaller M6 "Vintage style". I've changed all cheap Ping Tuners with them. They are excelent Quality with 16:1 Ratio.

Can the Ping tuners be replaced with Schaller M6 without drilling any extra holes?

Yes, the Schaller M6 Vintage have the Little screw in the middle (Centre) of the Body, they fit perfect and are working much better with 16:1 Ratio. The only negative is they have the old Grover-Style Buttons....
But you can get wonderful Buttons here: http://www.crazyparts.de/sports/mode/woodstock-series-prs-i-ii-scha...

Gemm,
Best bet is to go to StewMac website and look up the specs (they have diagrams) of the M6 and measure.

Bburg, THANKS !!!!

Thanks. That's great to know. I've been looking for pearloid buttons for my Ping tuners for ages but they don't seem to exist, so it looks like this may be the way to go. No, I'm not keen on Grover-style buttons either. They look great on Les Pauls but not on Ovation.

If you only want a set of perloid-buttons for Ping's, wait a week or so, you can get them from me....
Interested? Drop me a PM with your address. I only want the shipping costs...
