This morning I noticed that if you open the battery ompartment for the preamp you have a sound port effect they adds a little volume while you're playing acoustically without the battery installed. This may not be news to a lot of you, but I found it kinda cool and thought I'd pass it on.

I suspect that the volume just seems louder to the player, not the audience.

Yeah it acts as a monitor. I've played some guitars with a larger port and it helps you hear your acoustic a little better. I was just curious if it would react the same and it does give a bit more sound to the player. Just open the battery door w/o the battery installed.
