Despite a low, constant hum that seemed ready to snap, much like that abrupt "POP" of a string wound too tightly in an orchestra, a stillness blanketed that place......

Yes...It WAS quiet....

Too quiet....

Something was about to happen in there. Something that had not come to pass in a very long while. He could feel the tension straining at its limits....ready to erupt like a large hound on a leash that has just spied the fox. When unleashed, no effort would be spared in its pursuit to complete its task.

But how would it work? How could it be done? Could it even be done at all?

He wanted to know....

He wanted to see.....

The man at the gate brushed his thumb across his fingertips and lightly touched the trigger mechanism. He stood as ready as he could have made himself. And with a deep breath took that first step to what he knew could yet become....

What? What would it become after all this?

That was indeed what all of us had long wished to discover. But the answers, the revelations and intent, remain....nebulous.

And now we wait for what witness he may have to share on his return.....

That's cool! The famous desk, from The Book, is still there.

Patch, do you write Mystery Novel's perchance??? Excellent writing, I was sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for the "REVEAL"!!!

But as all good writers, you leave us dangling, excited and expectant for more, waiting for "The Answer!"

It looks FABULOUS!!! From the unique and beautiful Desk, with that Antiqued Adamas (which I covet highly), to the desk right before you walk through the doorway onto the Main Floor, where it all happens!!! It looks like an Up and Running Manufacturing Facility!!! VERY different from just a few short months ago!!!

VERY, VERY COOL!!!!!

Soooooo...... More Please!!! What did you see? What are they working on??? Does it smell like freshly sanded wood, and chemicals for gloss toppings and glues??? Did you walk through the entire floor, and talk to all of the guys??? Did you see the stacks of tops, necks and bottoms? Details Man! We Need Details!!!! Inquiring Minds Want to Know!!!

So why was I there?

First, I needed calendar fodder. (We'll see how that pans out.)

Second, I had some strings that were clunking. Here's Mike about to get started, and apparently considering how medieval to make the process of removing and straightening my neck (not to mention the guitar's neck) for sticking this on his to-do list with only a few hours notice.

He did a great job.......on the guitar.

Thanks again Mike!

Did he use bolts and a blanket-stitch on your neck, or just bolts??? LOL!!!
Glad to hear that he was able to get that Gorgeous Guitar going for you again!!!
