And the LT-60 is an Ovation designed by a person who doesn't like Ovations. That is just a photo on Facebook. If it were a portent of the future that would be very Discouraging. Just hang-on to your vintage O's and keep scouring the pawn shops.

The new ownership might want to put some of their own spin on what they decide to bring to market... which is their right. Maybe they feel that to be successful they have to do something different than was done before. Therefore, "we" may have to accept that something slightly different might happen. I'd think that DW might want to be more than just a re-issue company. That said, the LT-60 is still just.... wrong.

I wouldn't be investing any money in the return of pay phones. I sometimes wish they would.... Remember when people walked down the street and smiled, or noticed things? You could talk to someone without them answering a phone call or text. You could stand in an elevator without listening to someone else's conversation, or the same with a public restroom??? I know people love them, but sometimes I miss the *lack* of technology.... Back on topic!

Don't care for the headstock, but a pinned bridge is a PITA when you want to keep your nails for finger picking. That said, if they sell something I don't like, I don't mind if it also means I have the potential to buy more of what I do like. SWMBO has just spent a whole lot of money upgrading perfectly good furniture, and I have a hankering for a wood top Adamas or ...

That, and they seem to think they "need" new furniture, carpet, paint, appliances etc. way more often than we "need" a new guitar. It's not all one sided, though. The last big thing SWMBO decided we "needed" was a boat. I still haven't sold the old one. I may need more than one guitar, but I sure don't need more than one boat.
