Rick,
I believe I have one. It's seen some wear but is solid. Contact me at moody.pi @ cox dot net.

I don't want to get in between you two or start a bidding war, but if Rick doesn't make this deal, I'm interested in moody's case. I have one for my Viper, but I don't have an original case for the UKII and I believe they are the same case.

The day I met you Mark, I had an extra one of those I was bringing up for whoever needed it.

I found it at a pawn shop, unfortunately the guitar wasn't in it... The tag said "white electric Ovation". I wonder if it was a white UKII

I should have anticipated my GAS would eventually extend to electric Ovations. My case that came with my Viper is in much better shape than the guitar is. I also learned recently that the Ultra GS is just slightly different than a Strat and won't fit well in a Strat case. Ovation cases are unique, just like the guitars.

Was just looking for a case model number, but I'll take it if Paul wants to part with it, lol...

Interestingly, the size of these old brown cases for the vintage Ovation electrics were not consistent. Does this mean that the cases are model specific? I know this because I have four and laid on top of one another, the variation in length is noticeable.

I just know my UKII fits perfectly in my Viper case.

My UKII case has a curve to it. I'm not sure if it came that way, or if the arched top and back of the UKII form it over time, but there's a difference.

I've always found the Preacher/Viper/UKII guitars will all fit in the same case for the most part. Dunno 'bout a 12 string electric though.

Might be that the inside foam is all the same even though the outside size is slightly different.

I think they were always outsourced, but I can't find any identification on the early brown case, just the more recent black ones.
