I have one for my Viper, but I don't have an original case for the UKII and I believe they are the same case.

My case that came with my Viper is in much better shape than the guitar is. I also learned recently that the Ultra GS is just slightly different than a Strat and won't fit well in a Strat case. Ovation cases are unique, just like the guitars.

Does this mean that the cases are model specific? I know this because I have four and laid on top of one another, the variation in length is noticeable.

I'm not sure if it came that way, or if the arched top and back of the UKII form it over time, but there's a difference. I've always found the Preacher/Viper/UKII guitars will all fit in the same case for the most part. Dunno 'bout a 12 string electric though. Edited by Damon67 2015-03-03 11:11 AM
