Maybe I should have had him take pictures of all the guitars I wanted to buy. It might have made it easier to get her permission.

Is that story about the red blanket & bleach, on-the-level? The assorted anecdotes are really priceless, and yes, I really DID say that.

I apologize for not responding sooner, but I have been out of the internet realm through the holidays visiting family up and down the east coast. I'm glad you are all pleased with the result.....I admit, I always worry a bit.

Joined: May 2006 Posts: 4232 Location: Steeler Nation, Hudson Valley Contingent | And just like that, the last one is claimed! Thank you again to everyone who submitted pictures and everyone who got copies. We'll see how next year works out. However, if there is one, I promise to get started in plenty of time this time. This one turned out to be a much greater challenge than the previous ones just because of the time crunch. I usually take about four months to do what I did in six weeks. And then, just two days before I picked them up, stuffed them in envelopes, and took them to the Post Office, I tore up my ankle and chipped a bone in my foot, landing me in an orthopedic boot with crutches. THEN, for the first time, I had to replace several that disappeared in transit, were left by postal workers to sit in the rain, along with other vagueries of shipping. THEN, I found out that I clean left two people off the shipping list somehow! (Possibly the pain meds for my foot were involved, I dunno.) Anyway, I'm giving myself plenty of time if I do this again. So expect a new thread around the beginning of summer....maybe. Thanks again everyone! I hope you get a year's worth of enjoyment out of them. Edited by Patch 2015-01-22 9:40 AM

It was all I could do to find time to snap some pictures when both the guitar and car were clean. I can't imagine all the time you spent. Probably no new to me cars or guitars next year, so I may have to sit one out, but I'll still buy one.

Anyone who doesn't have that calendar can now see the pictures. Look for the 97 Collector in December, especially the one with it in front of my wife's rear end. (Well, her car's, anyway).

May be some of the great USA Os that made it across the Pacific might...maybe might, get in the 2015 version... No pressure, really, really, but one of my recent O acquaintance's over here has a 1687 in mint condition. I think I'm going to try to get some pics of her either way. Thanks for the inspiration!
