Location: Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire | I see one for sale locally and its it great shape but from my research these were all Korean made? Appreciate any feedback, comments etc. Did Ovation make a USA Ultra? The Ovation site is not specific.

Components made overseas but assembled and set-up here in the U.S.
I think it's worth a look.

Location: Tennessee | The Ultras were made in the US for a spell before they were moved to Korea. My first Ovation (that I still have) is is 1311 Ultra made in the USA in 1983. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I played a new one a few years ago that was a solid spruce top and played and sounded great. I thought it was the best new guitar in that price range. I think it was of the Korean made, USA assembled, but even if it was all foreign made other than the bowl, it was a good guitar. |

Location: Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire | Thanks for the input! I also happen to see a very clean Ovation VXT and those are pretty nice with the chambered body with electric and acoustic sounds. I was at the OFC factory gathering when those came out and I should've bought one back then!!! |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Better buy both just to be safe. The VXT is great, but it's primarily electric. Not a lot of use to me, but I love it anyway. Another great idea and execution by Ovation that never got the attention it deserved. |

Location: Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire | I like the chambered body like some of the high end Hamers, PRS, etc! Yes the aspect of the acoustic sound reminds me of the Parker Fly, you need a lot of processor modeling to get the best acoustic sound although the VXT has a version it built-in. |
