| Hi,
I noticed when I pulled out my 1980 Preacher Deluxe it was missing the cover up on the neck. No recollection how that happened but it's not there now.
Is there an online source or anywhere that have parts available? From the pictures it looks like it's the same cover over many models and years. Is this true or are they specific to my model/year?
Does anyone have a schematic or know the dimensions for the right T- cover for mine? I found a local guy who said he could make one for me if I could supply a pattern if I couldn't find one.
Any info or help in locating one would be appreciated.

I do know that many TRC's look alike, but have different dimensions...
Cuz I have tried to install TRC's that look right, but the holes didn't match.
THIS might be helpful... or more confusing.

Location: Taxed To Death State | David, truss covers for Ovation solids are the same. Viper, Preachers, UK's, all use the same. There were a couple for sale up on eBay. If you need a scan of one shoot me a PM and I will email you a copy of one at 300DPI. These are hard to come by, they don't have them anymore down at service. One other note, these covers are the same size as the covers used on slot head acoustics that have the truss adjustment in the headstock. |
