Joined: December 2010 Posts: 16 | I've decided to part with my baby, to fund a new guitar purchase. It was in pretty rough shape when I bought it... the previous owner had removed the stock electronics, and plugged the holes in the body. The ebony fretboard had a lot of wear, and the walnut bridge was in bad shape, so I sent it to Ovation for a refurb. They planed & refretted the fingerboard, and replaced the bridge with a traditional acoustic bridge (in ebony, to match the fingerboard) and saddle. So now, it's a straight acoustic. I've played quite a few Ovations, and this one sounds amazing. The deep bowl & traditional bridge setup make for a wonderful, full sound. Comes with a new Ovation hardshell case. Priced at $650 + shipping to lower 48. Edited by Doc JC 2014-11-01 5:09 PM

Also worth mentioning... there is one finish check on the soundboard, near the bridge. Doesn't go into the wood.
