Location: Brisbane Australia | I went to see CS&N on Saturday night.
They played the River Stage here in Brisbane, an outdoor venue just across the river from my apartment.
They are certainly showing their age a bit but were still fantastic.
David Crosby's voice is still amazing.
Did a great version of "Almost Cut My Hair" among many other old favourites.
Had an assortment of old amps just miked through the PA. The sound was amazing.
And not a Gibson to be seen.
Or an O for that matter.
Did they ever play Ovations at all?

Location: indianapolis | I'm pretty sure I remember seeing a picture of Crosby playing an Ovation at some point. I remember thinking that the combination of the bowl and his belly had to make it hard to play though. |

Great performance indeed considered their age.

Location: CA | Saw them about 5 years ago and another vote for 'still pretty good'. I wish Crosby would quit telling the stories though and just sing. The stories wear a bit thin anymore. |

Location: 6 String Ranch | They never played one that I heard about. I'm sure they must have tried them, if for no other reason to say that it's a piece of...plastic and my prewar Martin is better etc..... |

Maybe it was around all the hype surrounding the impregnation of the Melissa Etheridge household by Mr. Crosby's wild oats. |
