I was very apprehensive about letting anyone touch it, but stephent28 suggested I send it to Ovation. After that I forgot all about the forum, I guess I'm just a user like that. Anyway, I took the advise, and got in touch with Kim at the service department. He was more than helpful, and they did the refret (and a couple of other things) for a VERY good price. I never did give thanks for that info. It all turned out great, so thanks Stephen! Anyway, I joined another forum a few weeks ago and have been enjoying the people there and when I saw another Ovation owner I immediately remembered I was a member over here too. So thanks for listening and being a good group of folks to talk with. I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible on the 4th! Damon

I took my Adamas II to a local shop in Denver (Baxendale Guitars at the Colfax Guitar Shop) for a 9 fret makeover along with a basic tune-up/set-up. I was, of course, promptly charged double for mentioning who referred me. ;) Stick around longer this time Damon. You will find alot of people who are passionate about these unique instruments and are willing to gladly share their knowledge and experience with you.
