It was on eBay with a buy it now price of 275. I low balled and offered 125 and they took it. The only markings are a capital D stamped onto the top under the fingerboard extension along with 5/3 in pencil. It has an Ovation 1132 label inside. There is no chrome on the frets and the head block is funky, even more different than the 76 Applauses. The binding is NOT raised like other Matrix models, it's smooth like a regular Ovation.

So I guess I have the missing link unless there's other oddball ones out there.

Serial number dates it to 1975.
