| I just bought a applause AF 14 online w/ a hard shell case. I don't know much about these but I've always wanted ovation so when I won It I was pretty exited, I piad $66.56 w/ shipping. Is that good or bad? and I googled applause hard shell case and I can not find one anytwhere are they rare? and one last question, how can I lower the action if there is no truss rod? thanks for any info I could get |

First, yeah that's a good price for anything that tunes up and makes noise. They fit in Ovation cases.
And as for the truss rod. Truss rods are used to keep the necks straight, not to adjust the action. You would do that at the bridge.
