Location: Taxed To Death State | I'm looking at possibly picking up a 1979 1657 anniversary natural finish. Anyone have an experience with this model? Worth picking up? Sound good. Sure looks nice, I assume they sold a boatload of them. Thanks for any advice.

Location: Jet City | They're awesome. I've bought 1, sold it, bought another, sold it, then bought the first one back.
It's the only non-cutaway A-Braced Legend I own, and there's a reason for it. Very sweet guitars, and appointments all their own like the herringbone rosette and binding, multi ply headstock and cap like an Adamas, and carved TRC and bridge like a Custom Legend.

Location: Taxed To Death State | Damon, thanks for the advice. I didn't realize it had the 3 ply treatments on the neck or the herringbone trim like my elite. The online photos aren't the best. I figured it sounded good like my brothers DB Glen Campbell, and I do like the carved bridge and truss cover to. This one is a one owner guitar so I think I'm gonna pop on it. Appreciate it. I'll post some pics after I get it. - Dan |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I thought I spotted one on Craigslist last week in Olympia Washington for $300. I was going to have my daughter's boyfriend take a look, but it was gone the next time I looked. |
