| I have a Ovation Country Artist in great condition, it has the stacked pot electronics control knob....how do you date something like this, any thoughts on value...i have owned it from new but believe it had been in stock for some time.
Thanks

Either on a sticker inside the bowl, or on the neck block...
Or on the back of the headstock if it is a newer version.
Once you find the serial number, look HERE
As to Value... That is very subjective.
Age, Condition, and Rarity combine to affect value.
Plus how much the buyer is willing to pay, divided by what the seller will accept.
Hope that helps.

| Great thanks......model 1624.
From the list it looks like the year is 1981.

The guitar should be a little tamer. Watch Ebay sales for the nearly current market, don't forget to factor in shipping. |
