| Hi everyone, just signed up today and I'm very happy to have found this forum. I live on the east coast of Florida and gig 4 to 5 days a week and have been playing Ovation guitars since the late 1980's. My first encounter with Ovation was when I was 21 in 1985 working at a restaurant one night and a guy set up in the bar. When he started playing I heard such and awesome sounding guitar. Don't know the model but he played an old Ovation 12 string with a classical headstock. Surface cracks and all. I knew Ovation was my brand right then. Saved some cash and bought a celebrity 12, then an Ultra and finally a legend. Still play it today on stage. Looking forward to meeting everyone. Cheers! |
