| Hi all,
Just wanted to introduce myself. I've been an ovation enthusiast since the 90s when I got my first Celebrity (still have it). I studied guitar in college, eventually got a bachelor's degree in classical guitar performance and, believe it or not, actually managed to parlay that into an actual job in music (sheet music publishing).
A a few years back, I decided I wanted to be Adrian Legg and started shopping Adamas. Coming from nylon background, the best fit for me seemed to be the wide-neck, 12-frets to the body Adamas U681T-5 (Ute). Long story short, I've had one in my arsenal for the last few years and it's a fantastic, church-bell of a guitar.
That said, I actually stumbled across this board looking for information on the value for it. I love the guitar, but am trying to find it a new home. Any gigging I do is almost exclusively nylon/classical, so this great instrument gets to sit in the case or sit on a stand looking pretty. Coming to a forum like this seemed a better place to start than eBay.
I'm sorry if this isn't the place for things like this or if even bringing it up in this board breaks rules about using this forum as a "personal classifieds" ad, but I do realize that I need to make myself known before you'll allow me to post in the "for sale" or any other boards. No offence intended. Happy to chat about my Ovations or just guitars in general.

Location: Sydney, Australia | Coming along to sell a guitar is fine (especially if you're honest about it). Also, there's a few people who are going to be drooling over that - there weren't many Utes made and they have a good reputation.
A moderator will be along in a while to grant you full access, then you can post it in the For Sale section. A price is mandatory, and pictures are highly desirable. |

| Thanks for the welcome, Tafkar! Still no movement from the moderators, but hopeful to get clearance to post in the for sale board eventually. Anything else I need to do? |
