| Hi all! this is my first time on this site! Well I have a big question to anyone out there. I bought an Ovation Legend model 1867 back in 1992 used off a guy in the paper/classifieds. I was 18 at the time and didn't pay attention to the serial number and didn't know the importance of one either. I am looking to sell it on ebay ( Its right handed and I being left handed flipped the strings) and noticed there is no serial number. I googled where to find it and the first place to look was behind the headstock (there's nothing) and second would be near the neck joint, a metallic rectangular sticker. There appears to be remnants of a rectangular sticker (paper left behind). Is there any other way to locate the serial number, or find an additional one on the guitar? I contacted Ovation and I'm waiting for a response. Would anyone have any suggestions
Thanks, Corey |

Location: Sydney, Australia | There will only be one serial number on the guitar. Certain features of the guitar will enable the vintage to be ranged (that particular pickup was used between these years, they did the neck like that in those years, etc.). When you get full access (I can't do that) post some good quality pictures and people will be able to narrow down the age for you. |
