We advertised it well in advance, got a few bites, but only 2 showed up.
But still, it was an international affair - a Brit and an Aussie, there were American Ovations and Adamaii played, I wore a Canadian fleece and played some Japanese harmonicas.
Cholesterol, caffeine and alcohol was consumed. 'twas good.

Looook at my fiiiiinger. You are getting sleeeeepy.

Now he's under my spell, I can nick off with these lovely Adamaii.

Where do you think you're going with THAT, ya thievin' colonial b@rst@rd?

I wish I remember what I'd said to get this reaction.

2 bearded middle aged men obsessed by plastic guitars that met on the internet. Sounds weird, eh?

I've reposted this thread here as the replies keep getting deleted in the 'official' section - as per the rules of that forum.

Rulz iz rulz. No pics, no posts.

So y'all can post your comments on this unofficial one and in a few days, it will sink out of sight. A dim memory for muzza and a vivid nightmare for schoeder.

Good God you really are the thinking womans ovation crumpet , wish i was there , wish i was invited , looks like schroeder might have managed a D chord at some point in the proceedings but aside of that looks like a lot of chiting the chat and , well a beard thing going on , thought if there were an annaual Achadamy Award type thing for the ovation site one would have to be for
" Biggest Male Hair and Beard " and the nominations are , well Cliff

Wow, these rank among the best guitars New Hartford ever made. Seems you had a lot of fun. As there is no factory tour in spring I have a free time slot in May. Schroeder, feel free to invite us European OFCers to a 2008 Kent Gathering :D

All the guitars played on the day (7, I think, including 2 O's and 2 A's) belonged to Schroeder. All the harmonicas belonged to me.

Yes it's a pick - so the doc was wrong about it sending you blind.

And there are picks available for all the guitars in case any ham-fisted, tone-deaf players from Virginia happen by.

Already test driven by a ham-fisted, tone deaf player from Queensland.

....until after closing time.

Someday I'll tell the story of the drinking contest between 3 Canadians and 3 Australians in Eastbourne, Essex. ...and how to clear a pub in 14 drinks or less.

Eastbourne is about 150 miles from Essex. It's in Sussex.

It's such a small country you step out the pub to pee and you're in the next County.
