Random quote: “Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything.” -Plato

I came home last night and heard this beautiful music on the stereo. I thought I recognized it, but waited until the CD was over until I checked what my wife had in the CD player. Sure enough, it was Rest, by our own Waskel. When I first heard it, I was amazed at both the playing and recording skill, especially when John told me he had also taken a long hiatus from playing. Now that I have several more years of practice, I'm still amazed. We have a ton of talent in this group.

I finally figured out how to go digital and have thousands of songs on a mini disc and a thumbdrive. The print is too small for me to read what's playing or to select it, so I play the CDs. Actually, my wife was playing them. I'll tell her you called her a luddite.

My guitar teacher had a CD release party Saturday night. I told him I can't buy a CD because David says I'm a luddite.
Rest could also be downloaded from CD Baby or one of those sites for high tech guys who like to listen to music on crappy little earbuds or computer speakers.
