I figured pictures of a newly acquired, and long sought after beauty laying on the red blanket was a good way to celebrate post #5000

I had a natural one for a short while during my unemployed era and had to let it go. I told myself when I got another it would be a "Book" or "Tamo Ash".

The thing plays awesome. If you consider yourself an electric guitarist FIRST, and you play live, it's almost a no-brainer. The top is obviously gorgeous, but I never paid attention to the multi-binding on the neck and body too. The oil rubbed v-profile neck feel just right, and the 24 frets is like home to me growing up on my UKII.

2 thumbs up!

Dang, Damon! That's one beautiful guitar! Love that color, and string-through? I've got a lot to learn about the different Ovation models!

They make new ones, but they're the Yngwie Malmsteen signature style now with f-holes

How I love the EA Vipers. When I bought my Hamer Improv from Fugot some years ago, he tossed one of these on the table to sweeten the deal. The finish is stunning. I put a set of the blue strings on it for a really exotic look,

Wow she's a beauty!

I'd say that for the 2014 calendar Patch now only has to fill 11 months.

Just about anyone could make a complete, great looking calendar with nothing but Damon's "red Blanket" photos.

Technically I had all 12 months on the last calendar, but nobody figured it out.

I put quite a few in-jokes and homage's into 2013, but they seemed to stay pretty much under the radar.

Or maybe they were just that lame and no one wanted to call me on it....
