Roy Orbison, man what a set of pipes. Nice guitar, too.
I loved that show. Just about the only way me and my little family could afford to see live performances.
Thanks, PEZ. :)

Good stuff.
Man... Just look at all those Ovations. But it was the 70's and it was live so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

I'll take live music, warts and all, over a slick studio production any day.
That being said, the drummer on Pretty Women was Pretty Awful.

Thanks, I loved it. I remember back then it seemed like everybody played Ovations. You gotta admit, they shine under the lights. Quality baby!

Thankyou Pez,
Awesome! What 12 String Ovation is the singer from America playing? I just love that song and now I need that model Ovation.

That's a 1615 Pacemaker. Probably the best sounding, most stable wood-top 12-string from any guitar maker. They're pretty common, you see them a lot on eBay. I paid $280 for mine at a pawnshop with minor issues (a couple of small top dings and a finish check). The non-electric model is the 1115.

The blingy upgraded model (carved bridge & TRC, abalone purfling, higher-grade spruce top) is the 1158/1658 Custom Legend.

Looks like a Pacemaker, 1615.

Edit: Also looks like g8r beat me to it.

Bob - there\'s an 1115 on eBay right now, less than 2 days left and a very low bid. Has a finish check, but otherwise looks to be in pretty good shape.

Soooo much soul, guts and depth! I paid double what g8r did and I could care less. Awesome instrument!
