Most of you know about the last year of my life....now my wife's mom died of liver cancer...2 weeks from diagnosis to death...she asked me to sing Misty at her funeral....the slothead sounded fine...the voice...not as fine...sigh

I listened to Eva Cassidy's rendition of I Know You By Heart twice on the way in today. It's sad, but beautiful and worth learning, but an octave down for me. My mom is getting close and the song has been haunting me, in a sweet sort of way. It's tough getting old. Too many funerals.
