Hi Folks, As I've just joined the Forum today, and, already am impressed at the level of player participation on here: I'd appreciate any feedback from any of you who own, or have played the above guitar in the subject title?
I've had the guitar now for a while, and find it very difficult to put down, its deep bowl makes it a loud instrument unplugged-feed it through my acoustic Amp (Roland AC-33) and this guitar just chimes like a bell, it's built-in electronics, enable a vast amount of 'tweaking' of various tones, it's got a wide neck (just what I like in a 12-string) and as it was set-up by my local Luthier-is easy to play-something grudgingly acknowledged by other players
of more 'traditional' instruments, the only drawback, is the rough finish on the top-(I'd call it a 'stipple-finish?) so rough a top coating, that you can easily gash your flesh, if your strumming technique becomes a bit too vigorous, but it also serves to act as a protective layer on the Spruce top, which, is a whopping 5mm thick, all in all, it makes for one amazing guitar-and it cost me £470-I think I got my money's worth.
