Location: Keepin' It Weird in Portland, OR | First, post your images to an external site like Photobucket.
On your OFC thread, look in the upper right corner... hit the [Reply] button with a little pencil.
When you get to the Reply page, there is a button in the lower left [Use Rice Text Editor] hit that.
Once you get there there is a little green easel thingy up in the upper tool bar.
Insert your image URL there.
(or you can use HTML if you know how... I don't)
Then be sure to Preview your post before submitting.
If the photo is really large, re-size before submitting.
You can post photos to the OFC Albums, but the pics must be less than 200KB (whatever that means).
You can post larger photos from an external site, but Please be sure that they will fit on the page before hitting the submit button. If they are too large, it will make the whole thread difficult to read. Then nobody will read it. So nobody will see your life-sized photo of your guitar, which defeats the whole purpose of posting it.
I hope that helps.

Location: Sunshine State, Australia | You almost got there. You haven't pasted a valid URL (web address) into the box.
Another option for the digital dinosaurs is to just copy the web address of your image (from your browser's address bar) and post it as text.
Then one of us 50+ year old teenagers can do the technical stuff for you.
(I really don't understand why people find it so difficult to post images???) |

Location: Oklahoma City, OK | I tried to post the pic as a part of the text as an alternative, but couldn't get that to work either I don't have a personal public website like Facebook - so, I'll just use the ebay listing below- www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Ovation-12-String-Acoustic-Guitar-/261240229750?pt=Guitar&hash=item3cd3218f76&nma=true&si=vD2nCpU3KGJ7DLOAPhut7fePwXw%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 |
