Hey guys, I bought an Ovation Bone Daddy about a year ago and have been having a great time with it until just recently. One day, out of the blue, I went to try and tune my guitar differently. My pre-amp (OP4BT) tuner would turn on (the battery light would turn on) when I pressed the "tuner" button, and then turn back off. At first, I figured "needs batteries" so I went out and grabbed some new ones, but the same thing still happened. If I press the button and then while the battery light is on, pluck a string, it DOES show the display and it does show the key of the note, but very briefly before it fades out. And the duration of the light being on when I press "tuner" varies between 1 second and maybe 5 seconds.

I'm not the most technically-sound person when it comes to guitars or anything, really, so my first guess would be it somehow shorted. But I'm at a loss with this. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Cody
