Here's your chance at the very rare and very coveted OFC Slothead Reissue.  I'm letting this go to a good home so it can be treasured and played by an aficionado.  I've got another one nearly identical to this that is the one I'm going to keep playing. 

 

These guitars were specially commissioned by AlPep for the Ovation Fan Club and coincided with the 30th Anniversary of Adamas and the 40th Anniversary of Ovation.  Only 12 were made.  No expense was spared or detail too small to make these as nearly identical to the original 34 slotheads as possible, and the New Hartford team succeeded with flying colors. 

 

The craftsmanship and detail on these guitars are just stunning.  I've owned #6 since new and it is in near perfect condition.  I can't find anything to report on this guitar, but it has been out and been played during it's life.  Sounds fantastic and is very loud.  Plays like a dream.  Next to an original slothead, these guitars are the best of the best.  Acoustically or plugged in, it's simply a tremendous instrument.

 

Comes with the original 9158 Ovation case which fits it perfectly. Also has a specially signed (by AlPep and CWKII) label and Certificate of Authenticity.

Location: Tennessee		I'm in the SF Bay Area. If I didn't have another slothead to play, I'd keep #6. But I don't need it just hanging here on the wall. If no one here wants it, no worries. Just wanted someone here who missed the chance first time around to have an opportunity for one of these.

Did I mention this also records really well? I've used it several times and the results were awesome. Using a combination of the direct stereo outputs (panned) and two mics, it provides a natural depth and presence that amazes.

These guitars are second only to the original Slotheads on the "best" scale of everything that has ever come out of the New Hartford factory. Very rare and very desirable.
