For everybody in the UK, take a moment and plan to make one or more of these shows! If you're not aware, Bill Kaman is Charlie Kaman's son (some of us still like him) and was president of Kaman Music for 10 years. He and Davis & Pam Turner are a bit of a legend in Florida. Temp is, well, Temp. But the music is outstanding!

Swampgass 2013 UK tour. Swampgass are Bill Kaman, Davis Turner, Pam Turner and Paul Templeman. They are, of course, FUCKING AWESOME!!!!! and will be appearing at the following venues......

May 16 Beamish Mary, No Place, Beamish, County Durham
May 18 Teviothead Village Hall, Hawick, Scottish Borders
May 19 Cumberland Arms, Newcastle upon Tyne
May 23 Berrits and Browns, Motherwell, Glasgow (with Eleanor McEvoy)
May 25 Washington Arts Centre, Washington, Tyne & Wear
May 26 Holborn Rose & Crown, South Shields, Tyne & Wear
May 27 Fox & Hounds, Denholm, Hawick, Scottish Borders (with Steve Poltz)

I love the names of the venues: "Berrits & Browns," "Fox & Hounds," "Beamish Mary" etc. Just so English!

Two of those are in Scotland. Your life would be worth diddly-squat if you ventured there and did the American thing of calling everyone in the UK English.

Shame on me, indeed! I should have learned that lesson watching Malcolm in the film "In the Loop". Hey, at least I recognize "beamish" as a Carroll coinage from "Jabberwock": Did the jolly pedophile not have some Irish blood? Double trouble1
