Hi to All,
Really glad to see there are others that love their Ovation > My Guitar is a 1612-4 Custom Balladeer
S/N 160940 that my wife bought for me the first Christmas we were married. It was a lot of money but she knew how much I enjoyed playing it. She was right , Its the one instrument that I have kept and play whenever I can. It still plays and looks the way it did back in 1980. I even kept the receipt along with all the hang tags. I can honestly say the guitar makes me happy every time I play it. What more can you ask for!
Thanks again to all for allowing me to join.I have included a picture .
All the Best!

Sorry I'm not sure how to post a picture of the guitar. If someone can advise I will put it up.
Thanks again,
Dad Roadie

You don't suck at loading pictures Richard. You are the OFC's biggest picture loader...

Hi To All,
Again sorry about the picture. At least I can ask a question. My Ovation has the volume only preamp. (which works great). I would like to get some feedback on amps that work well for small gigs. I have a Peavey KB60 that I currently use,(I also play bass thru it) It works well but I would be open to any opinions of other amps that might do a better job on getting more of an acoustic sound. Again thanks to all!

Hi Dave, repost this in the main section (start a new thread), as most people can't reply in the Welcome section.
