Location: Flahdaw | My dog never had much to do with me (except at meal time), but when I played guitar she would come in and lay down near me. Now she's about deaf, so those days are over, but it was pretty sweet at the time....
Actually, you can see her in this video, where she had jumped up in the window seat to lay on the pillow and hang out with me while I was recording.

Location: NH | My dog likes to sit/lie at my side when I practice. Whenever I offer any solo (on electric guitar) he starts to howl. If I stop, he stops. I always thought of it as him contributing to the effort. I never gave any thought to the fact that he may be begging me to stop.
