as a huge yes and steve howe fan all of my life i cant believe how he makes it sound so easy to play the songs in this video. i can't believe that i have spent 40 years trying to play these songs and gave up on them , steve howe shows how easy it is to play , as he says don't try so hard to copy the playing of a song.
any one else see how easy it it to play? i quit . GWB

He makes it look simple, but I think I'm a looong way from getting any of that down - although I do finally have a serviceable version of the intro to Roundabout.

That makes sense.

Wow, love this. I've seen Steve Howe perform twice. Once with Yes and once as a solo act with all his instruments. What an amazing talent! I have been a fan since high school. This looks very playable!

Yeah, the great ones always make it look easy. He almost convinces me I could play those songs.

Tell me about it! I've had a DVD since Christmas of Merle Travis' son Thom Bresh demonstrating Merle's playing. So far, I have yet to nail the very first lick he is showing. I discovered, much to my chagrin, the tab isn't even close to what he's actually playing. A fact I intend to complain about to Homespun very soon. I've emailed Thom as well about it (since I've read he answers all email) and invited him to my home if he's ever in Ft. Worth, assured him of a good time while here, if he would prove his belief anybody can learn to play like Merle to me in person. So far he hasn't responded. Best I can do is relentlessly back up the DVD over and over to copy what he's doing. I've already created chatter in it on the first song. Sucks to be so slow on the uptake!

One of my favourite guitar heroes for sure, but one would hope he could afford some dental work and a haircut.
