| I am looking for information and contacts regarding Breadwinner Limited. Trying to get a sense of the pros and cons of the guitar, value, rarity, etc. |

The Breadwinner Limited is just a regular Breadwinner that has had radical surgery done to the body.
As to Rarity, Value, etc...
Pretty Rare, but only valuable to an Ovation collector (I'm guessing)
My personal opinion is that the Limited is just a compromised Breadwinner that has been butchered to suit someone who doesn't like the Breadwinner body shape.
The one that I played had a very comfortable size and feel. But...
(If you don't like the Breadwinner, there are many other guitars with active electronics for cheaper)
Occasionally you might see one on eBay
One just sold for $850...
Another sold TWICE for $1250 (kinda suspicious)
So it might be worth a bunch to the Right Buyer on the Right Day.

Add about $300 to $400 to the going price of a Deacon in the same shape. |

| Yes - kinda confusing. So, I have one that looks exactly like the one in the picture posted in this thread, good condition, all original. Someone has offered me $600. Is that a good price? |

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | Welcome jgorsk01, I'd take a look at our FAQ Unfortunately other than the info already offered, and unlike some more "collectible" guitars, an Ovation's value is solely dependant on what buyers and sellers finally agree on. I have both bought and sold 100's of guitars and just speaking of the Limited I have bought them and sold them from anywhere from $200 to $1500. The only difference being the mood I was in, and the mood the buyer or seller at the time was in. I just checked ebay and two sold recently... one for $800 and one for $1195. Recently sold items on eBay are your best bet for a guide. |
