| Hello all. Just got me my first Ovation. All these years I never thought I'd own one. It's a 1615 (made in 1981) plays and sounds awesome. Perfect condition. Now I'm hooked. Bought it for 300.00, I think I got a decent deal. I do have a few questions. The wires inside seem to be hanging down in front of the blue label. Is that normal? Also, the case is in good shape but it looks like it faded to an ugly greenish color. Do they all do that? I sure dig this guitar! John (Sacramento, Ca.)

It happens a lot. When you are changing the strings you can get some stick-on wire holders to attach inside of the bowl and out of the way.

Do they all do that? Some do, some don't.
I sure dig this guitar!
That happens a lot, too.

OMA's tips are spot on. If you want a different case, keep an eye on eBay and in the "For Sale" section here, then sell yours. It will work out just fine.
Congrats on pilfering one of the best 12'ers ever built!
